Ian brings over 25 years of investment management experience with a strong focus on hedge fund middle office and operations. In a prior role as Head of Middle Office at RAB Capital, an independent alternative investment manager, he played a key part in scaling the business from $250 million to more than $7 billion AUM, overseeing operational support for 20+ funds across 10 diverse strategies and structures. Ian managed the integration of multiple acquired funds and led the implementation of a web‑based front‑end system. He has also served as a portfolio manager and has carried out a range of regulatory functions, including execution trading.

In 2014, Ian founded OSMO Partners and now applies his broad experience to help clients design and implement efficient operating models. He also focuses on shaping the firm’s wider strategic direction and continually explores ways to enhance the operating model for the benefit of boutique asset managers.

Ian holds the IMC qualification and is a keen runner having completed several Ultra Marathons.

Richard manages OSMO Partners’ Outsourced COO team, bringing over 20 years of experience in asset management and investment banking to the firm.

Richard was previously COO at Eclectica Asset Management, a Global Macro investment manager with multiple strategies and fund structures. Prior to this, he worked at Brevan Howard in the COO trading team and has held several operations positions at various investment banks. 

Richard specialises in providing Outsourced COO and consulting services, with deep expertise in building institutional‑grade investment management infrastructure. He advises both early stage and established mangers on fund formation, portfolio management and risk systems, as well as legal, finance, and compliance frameworks.

Sonia joined OSMO Partners in November 2025 as Head of Business Development, bringing over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. 

Sonia’s career spans a range of senior roles, including relationship management and consulting positions within Prime Brokerage at Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse. She has held product development and sales roles at financial technology firms Enfusion and FINBOURNE and led the EMEA hedge fund sales effort at Citco Fund Services. More recently, Sonia worked within the outsourced trading team at Northern Trust. Earlier in her career, she spent two years in Geneva as Head of Middle Office during the launch of the hedge fund Jabre Capital.

Ricco joined OSMO Partners in October 2024 and leads the Middle Office Account Management team. Prior to joining the firm, he was Director of Operations at Nursery Road Capital, a global relative value and special situations manager. Earlier in his career, he spent several years at HSBC, where he led both local and offshore Hedge Fund of Funds Operations teams. Ricco also held senior operations roles at KLI Asset Management, having joined the firm at its inception. He holds a BA in Law and Sociology and brings 15 years of industry experience.

Ryan manages Onboarding and Project Management at OSMO Partners, bringing over 20 years of operations experience across hedge funds and asset management. Throughout his career, he has supported a broad range of products, strategies, and markets across the financial sector.

Prior to joining, Ryan was Operations Manager at Attestor Limited, where he oversaw complex transactions across Distressed and Special Situations strategies. He previously held a similar role at BlueBay Asset Management, gaining extensive experience in leading teams to deliver high‑quality operational service and project‑based solutions. Ryan holds the PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner qualification in project management and a BA in Economics from the University of East Anglia.

Kasia joined OSMO Partners in September 2025 and is Head of Fund Accounting. She holds a master’s degree in mathematics and has over 7 years of fund accounting experience across both fund administration and the buy side. Kasia began her fund accounting career at Citco Fund Services in Dublin before moving to London, where she gained buy‑side experience at hedge fund DSAM Partners and Marble Bar Asset Management.
